Hi @chicago. You raised a good point here. Payments are really not enough. They deserve much more. They give us the gifts of a lifetime. Every step that my baby takes, every smile. It’s all because of that surrogate. That being said, I did offer her a package. I offered my SM to come meet the baby. I told her she can come whenever she wants to. But she refused. I was not sure why, initially. Then she explained that surrogates don’t want any emotional attachment with the babies. They want to keep it as a job. If they think of the baby as their baby, then they won’t be able to give them away. That would cause pain to the SM and the baby too.
