Hey Candace! Thanks so much for this! I have a question, if somebody is trying to have a child via surrogacy but the surrogate mother is in another state with different laws, for example, Texas and Oklahoma, how does that affect the procedure and the legality of the surrogacy? Which state laws do you abide by?

Hi Angel, In almost all situations, the law where the surrogate resides and will deliver will apply.
I hope this helps and reach out with any further questions!

Assisted reproduction can raise complicated ethical challenges for the individuals involved, health care professionals, and the greater society. Infertility treatments today create new definitions of parents and children and require a rethinking of the conventional notions of family. For families facing infertility, decisions about family building become complex. One ethical dilemma associated with ARTs involves the politics of embryos and what to do with unused embryos. Many couples fertilize as many eggs as they can during their treatments and freeze any remaining embryos for later use. Kindly I need my dilemma to be clarified. I do hope that you will give me a straight answer. Since many people have been avoiding such question.

This is good. That you have decided to share your services here. I believe we have many people with different kinds of problems. So with what you have posted hopefully you might help someone/. Perhaps next time you will be more elaborate with your services. Like what you offer in your as an attorney. You might be skilled in other sectors too. And we are here thinking taht you only deal with fertility issues. So its nice if you make us know more about you. I would like to get help in the near future. Since I am going through some infertility issues. And one day I might seek ART’s help. I believe you will be able to help.

I’m sharing my journey of Surrogacy with you.
I’m basically from Japan we are settled in Japan from past few years. We are happily married.I’m totally infertile now as i had hysterectomy cancer and as i result i am infertile now. But my husband was there with me every time. Than we searched about surrogacy and found it best solution for us.
As Japan has banned surrogacy so we moved to Europe to find our dream come true.Than we moved to Ukraine as we heard there are many good clinics regarding surrogacy in Ukraine. In Ukraine we found BioTexCom and consulted them. They helped us to find a good surrogate mom.Now she is pregnant with our twin daughters. We are very excited about having two daughters. We are so thankful to the clinic. The surrogates mom are kind they let us have our dream come true.
    Share your stories too

I have over two decades of experience in helping couples and individuals form their families through alternative means through adoption and surrogacy. My practice focuses on surrogacy and egg donation. My services include drafting contracts for surrogacy or egg donation on behalf of Intended Parents and reviewing contracts on behalf of egg donors and surrogates.

Hey! How are you doing? Thank you for showing up to this forum. This is so nice of you that you are seeking to help women’s out with such procedures. I had been to post where they were questioning such procedures to be unethical. I believe that all such confusions need to be answered. And to spread awareness.
There would be many people who might be new to this world. As I am. And they have so many confusions. I am sure you would help them the best way out. I would ask my friends to visit this post and to ask queries if they have any.
