My life has been a constant struggle. I am glad that I can share it here. I am an expectant mother A proud one in that case. I have been struggling for years to conceive. So now is when I have finally managed it. I think I should share my story with you guys too. Maybe, just maybe it will help someone outside there. I have been suffering from endometriosis for the past 5 years. I went through various procedures in which many of them never helped. So finally a friend advices me of this certain clinic. It was good and it has helped me great deal. I went through frozen embryo transfer. At first I was worried of the procedure. Few people have ever had it. So I felt like it was also not going to work out. Just like the other procedures before. But I was wrong, the first trial was already a success. So I want to advise anyone out there go try this method. I have been through it and it has helped.
November 14, 2017 at 12:57 pm #617TrishaParticipantThis will surely do help. I have a friend who was advised to go through that procedure. She was afraid. She thinks that it is not going to work out. She is suffering from POF. Her doctor told her it is only FET that is going to work. So she is still thinking about it. She has done some research on it too. But feels like it is not going to work out. But since you have been through that experience. I can tell her to go for it. She was afraid because she does not know of anyone who has gone through that procedure. You have gone through the procedure and it has been a success., I believe your story will motivate her. Cause right now she is on her low moments. In a dilemma also. Whether to go for it or not. Let me pass my regards on her behalf. Just know that you have helped a sister. You should also be giving us more encouragements too.

It has been such a tussle for her. But I told her I would volunteer. I am now in my 40 but think I can help. I will be her surrogate. I have been a surrogate for 6 couples. And I can say I am used to it. The customers that I have been serving are people who have been through a lot. Their cases always brings me rears. I personally do not know how it feels suffering from infertility. I am a mother of 4 children. And giving birth has never been tough for me. So when I pass through your posts I tend to feel the pain too. IU can see many people have been through a lot. Having a child is not as easy as I have always been thinking. And can say your stories do motivate me. I think not just me, but also those people who will read them.

Both fresh and frozen cycles have the same primary indicator for success: the maternal age at the time of embryo freezing. Many patients wait several years between the initial freeze of their embryos and attempting a subsequent FET cycle. Any patient, no matter the amount of time between embryo freezing and thawing, can expect nearly the same potential for success as they experienced with the fresh IVF cycle that the frozen embryos came from. Women 35 years and younger have over a 60 percent chance of pregnancy per transfer. This rate declines as the maternal age at the time of the freeze increases.
April 12, 2018 at 11:31 pm #1875MeeParticipantSharing your story will most likely enable other to individuals. I have a sister who has been experiencing comparable cases. April 14, 2018 at 1:36 pm #1895TifannyParticipantWhile some doctors believe in laparoscopic surgeries prior to IVF treatments to increase the chances of a successful procedures. Others do not share those beliefs. Studies exist which support both ideas . Endometriosis does (and does not) affect IVF outcomes. Just as our disease is a great big gray area. So is IVF and Endometriosis. Other studies have shown that the removal of endometriomas from the ovaries may reduce ovarian reserve and hinder the efforts of egg retrieval for IVF. If you would like to consider surgery prior to IVF treatments. Please have a few long discussions with your doctor about the potential influence with IVF procedures. Although it sounds simple enough, IVF is anything but. It is not only costly financially, but emotionally. There could be constant tests (both in facility and at home). The depression of procedures not working. It takes a resilient heart. And plenty of women and couples endure. And many have successful births, yet many do not.

May 5, 2018 at 1:19 pm #1967TrishaParticipantThe pressure to raise a family can be enormous. And the thought of not being able to have children can make many people feel something is wrong with them. I talked to respected mental health professionals who work with people dealing with fertility problems to find out which coping strategies really work. Recognize that a fertility problem is a crisis. A fertility problem may be one of the most difficult challenges you’ll ever face. Acknowledging this is a key to coping. It’s normal to feel a monumental sense of loss, to feel stressed, sad, or overwhelmed. Don’t chastise yourself for feeling this way. Facing and accepting your emotions can help you move through them. If you’re always putting up a brave front. Others won’t understand what you’re going through, and you’ll feel even more alone. It can be helpful to sort out your thoughts and feelings by writing them down in a journal first. And then sharing whatever feels comfortable with trusted friends or family.
May 9, 2018 at 8:16 am #1975MilanParticipantFET reduces costs significantly, and in some cases, increases the chances of success. The reason is that frozen embryos are already viable and fertilization has already occurred. In a brand new IVF cycle with no frozen embryos. Fertility doctors must retrieve eggs. Fertilize them with sperm, and then transfer. At any point in that process, IVF could fail. For example, some rounds of IVF result in no viable eggs to fertilize. Another round of IVF may result in no fertilized or healthy embryos. Fertility clinic data suggests that the FET success rate are similar to the success rate of a fresh IVF cycle. In other words, they are not significantly higher or lower if you consider one round at a time. However, in some cases, FET increases the chances of success in multiple rounds of IVF. Because of the significant cost savings as well as the increased chances of success, any patient with extra healthy embryos benefits from frozen embryo transfer.
June 2, 2018 at 7:20 pm #2641Sarah WilliamsParticipantHello dear! Well, yes! I’m so happy to hear that it worked for you. Yeah! I’m also undergoing an embryo transfer in July of this year at a center in Ukraine. My case is of PCOS. I didn’t want to undergo it. Yes! Because my first choice was naturally. But, all these years I couldn’t do it. So, yeah! Anyway! you’re right! Sometimes, we are looking for the answer in the wrong place. So, yeah! Anyway! Stay strong! Sending you baby dust. xx
June 2, 2018 at 10:39 pm #2654monikaParticipantHey, Tiffany, I am so happy for you. Congratulations! I am glad the procedure worked out after the first cycle. When you are going through infertility you just have to keep trying. I always tell people to keep on researching until you find a better answer. When I was diagnosed with an infertility disorder I had to suffer a lot. I first visited a doctor who had no clue as to what he was doing. I was on a 6-month Clomid cycle which didn’t help at all. Soo much of my time was wasted finding the right answer. I then visited a specialist who basically helped me in determining the solution. So yes never lose! You will have to face a lot of problems in between but by the end of the day, it will all be worth it. Just make sure you visit the right doctor who knows what they are doing. Otherwise, they will keep on creating problems for you. Sending baby dust to all those trying.
